Private Practice

Rob has maintained a private practice since becoming licensed as a psychologist in 1985.  His office is in a courtyard building near the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood.  Rob provides psychotherapy for adult individuals and couples. Issues addressed include depression, anxiety, sexuality, relationship concerns, childhood abuse, gay and lesbian issues, self-esteem, PTSD, and personal growth.

Rob has found it helpful to be eclectic in his theoretical orientation, depending upon the personality of the client, the issues discussed, and the client’s own history of what has been helpful or not helpful in the past.  Rob integrates cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic and humanistic elements in his approach to each client, always attempting to provide a safe and respectful environment in which his clients can grow.
